It might not be season 3, but it might be close enough.

Are you missing Rick and Morty as much as we are? With Season 3 still on the horizon with no set release date, Rick and Morty fans are currently stuck with rewatching the series' first two seasons and hilarious reenactments of real, crazy court cases with the eponymous characters at the helm to treat their Rick and Morty withdrawals. And now the crew behind the Adult Swim animated comedy have kindly offered fans a new mini-episode to help ease the pain... Or at least, it's kind of a mini-episode.

So there might not be Rick and Morty in their animated forms to enjoy, but we are offered series creator Dan Harmon overseeing an improvised live reading of a totally made up, but absolutely hilarious, mini-episode of our favourite foul-mouthed toon. If nothing else, it's eye-opening for fans to be able to see Rick and Morty co-creator, and voice actor, Justin Roiland at work voicing both Rick and Morty. Like finding out that the voice of Bart Simpson was a woman, seeing Roiland flex his vocal talents for both of the show's heroes is extraordinary - and fans will find a lot to love about the episodes... unique concept.

Watch the improvised mini-episode below, and keep your eyes peeled for more Season 3 news to emerge hopefully very soon.
